The CCR REN will support an equitable and affordable clean energy transition for underserved communities. By leveraging regional collaboration, trusted local relationships, and promoting pragmatic responses to community needs, the Central California Rural Regional Energy Network will support communities that have historically not participated in energy efficiency programs.

We evaluate rural California’s ongoing and crosscutting barriers to the market adoption of energy related services and products.
Assessment
We strive to positively influence local, regional, and state policy and regulatory discussion and decisions to address barriers and drivers in rural California.
Advocacy
We cooperate and with other agencies, associations, and groups, both public and private, to boost rural customer program access, streamline efforts, and create synergies.
